What does ‘responsible capitalism’ really mean?

News item posted: 19 June 2017

Lord Victor Adebowale is one of six commentators writing in Ethos about the meaning of the phrase 'responsible capitalism'.

Lord Victor Adebowale has joined commentators including Jeremy Stafford, Chief Executive of Serco, Peter Riddell, Director of the Institute for Government and Economist and Evening Standard journalist Anne Mc Elvoy to discuss the meaning of the phrase 'responsible capitalism'"

Victor writes; "It isn't that business should not make money, but it's how they make money that is critical. Good business should be supported by society, while bad business should be condemned. Responsible capitalism is not an ideal - it can be a reality, where everyone benefits, not just the privileged few."
