Turning Point marks World Mental Health 2015

News item posted: 19 June 2017

Saturday 10 October is World Mental Health Day and Turning Point is holding a number of events to promote dignity, the main theme of the day.

Some of our events are for people already accessing our services, including a series of activity in Manchester and Nottingham where people we support with enduring needs are getting together to take part in wellbeing walks, art sessions and workshops on how mental health is perceived in other countries.

Meanwhile, we will also be taking part in community events, highlighting the support available to local people. This weekend you will see Turning Point’s services holding stalls in Wakefield, Castleford and Pontefract; and taking part in community events in Manchester and Tameside.

Wherever you are tomorrow, look out for mental health awareness events near you.
