Turning Point in Hertfordshire mark Learning Disability Week

Today Turning Point's Hertfordshire Learning Disability services will be holding a community sports event to mark Learning Disability Week.

Turning Point's Hertfordshire Learning Disability Services offer both residential and day support to individuals with a range of learning disabilities and complex needs.

The day will see service users, family and friends and staff take part in a range of activities including rounders and a three legged race. Local MP Richard Harrington and Turning Point's Managing Director for learning disability services Fiona Ritchie will also be in attendance.

Tendai Temple, Service Manager at Hertfordshire Learning Disability services said;

"We are holding this event as part of Learning Disability week, to raise awareness in the community of learning disability and the support we offer. We look forward to having a fun day with the people we support in the community."
