New mental health service opens in Tameside

From 1st April 2016, adults aged 18 or over who are already engaged with secondary mental health services in Tameside will be able to access a new Turning Point service.

The Community Outreach Service will provide a flexible, responsive approach to supporting clients seven days a week through one-to-one support, working with people to develop their skills and achieve their recovery goals.

John Campbell, Turning Point’s Managing Director for Mental Health said: ‘Turning Point’s new Community Outreach Service in Tameside will empower people to rediscover skills and develop ways of living a fulfilling life through embedding a sense of hope and optimism. Turning Point will support people to live the life they want.’
