Lord Adebowale to Co-chair ‘Future of the NHS’ seminar

On Tuesday 21 October the Westminster Health Forum are hosting a seminar entitled 'The future of the NHS': financial challenges, integrating care and policy priorities' co-chaired by Turning Point Chief Executive, Lord Victor Adebowale and Baroness Williams of Crosby.

At the seminar delegates will discuss the future of the NHS, and challenges facing the delivery of health and social care as policymakers in Parliament consider the priorities for the next Parliament.

Sessions will focus on opportunities for Clinical Commissioning Groups, Health and Wellbeing Boards, Public Health England and NHS England, and progress on meeting the aims of the NHS England mandate. Attendees will also consider lessons to date for service integration, implementation of the Care Act, and next steps for improving quality of care, regulation and patient safety.

Seminar keynote addresses will include Paul Burstow MP, Chair of the Liberal Democrat Health Backbench Committee and former Minister of State for Care Services and Lord Warner, former Parliamentary Under Secretary and Minister of State, Department of Health.
