London Health Commission publishes final report

Today former health minister Lord Darzi will present the final report of the London Health Commission to the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.

The Mayor set up the London Health Commission in September 2013 to review the health of the capital, from the provision of services to what Londoners themselves can do to help make London the healthiest major global city.

Our Chief Executive, Lord Victor Adebowale CBE, was a member of the London Health Commission and led on the community engagement activity that informed the review, alongside National Voices. In response to its publication he said:

"This report is the first on health in London to lead with engagement and emphasise its importance. It marks the start of a debate about current and future health and social care needs but makes it clear: London's health needs Londoners."
