In response to the Publication of the London Health Commission 'Summary of Call for Evidence' which references Turning Point's Connected Care model, Lord Victor Adebowale, Chief Executive of Turning Point said;

"The London Health Commission is exploring how they can make a difference to Londoners' health and wellbeing. This is a hugely complicated task and I am pleased to see that the report recognises the role that community led commissioning, especially through Turning Point's Connected Care model, can play in improving health and wellbeing.

Connected Care is Turning Point's proven methodology of community led commissioning. It enables communities to improve health and wellbeing inequalities by building the capacity of local people to design and deliver local health and social care services with commissioners. Given the increasingly complex nature of health needs in London it is not only beneficial, but essential, for Commissioners and Providers to speak to the communities they work in to understand current need. We look forward to continuing to support the London Health Commission in their work in this area."
