Fiona Ritchie, Managing Director for Turning Point's Learning Disability services said;

"Today is International Day of People with Disability. The day aims to promote an understanding of people with disability and encourage support for their dignity, rights and well-being. For over 20 years, Turning Point has been providing learning disability services and support and it is the central aim of our services to empower the people we support to lead individual lives.

Over 20 years we have seen a lot of changes in the services and support we offer and we are proud of what we have achieved. Today gives us an opportunity to celebrate our successes as well as looking toward the challenges of the future. We need to ensure we work together as providers of learning disability services to continue to provide the best support for the people we work with."
