Amber Rudd, MP for Hastings and Rye, recently visited  Turning Point's Hastings Sanctuary Service.

Hastings Sanctuary, which is celebrating its sixteenth year in June, offers support to individuals in the local area who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The service aims to support people through challenging circumstances by providing care tailored to their particular needs.

Mel Tapp, Operations Manager for Turning Point's Hastings Sanctuary Service said;

"It was a pleasure to welcome Amber to the service to speak about the work that we do. At Hastings Sanctuary we can support anyone in mental health crisis and treat everyone as an individual to ensure they receive the help they need. We would encourage anyone experiencing difficulties to get in contact with their GP for more information. "

Following the visit Amber Rudd MP said;

"Thank you to the Staff at Turning Point Sanctuary who provide essential, emergency mental health support. I was impressed by the professional and caring manner of the staff, and the overall atmosphere of calm and stability in the home."
